Valentine's Day Couples Dinner & Mini Retreat
With Rev. Jim Clarke, PhD
February 13, 2027
Marriage requires courage in unexpected ways—the courage to face uncomfortable personal issues together, to accept the imperfections of the person we love, and to continue choosing love through all of life’s seasons.
A strong marriage isn’t about being perfect or expecting perfection from one another. It is about learning how to walk together through the unexpected and unwanted, the challenges and disappointments, and sometimes even the tragic. It is also about recognizing and celebrating the good times, the laughter, the growth, and the treasured moments that make the journey worthwhile.
This retreat gives couples a chance to step away from everyday routines and spend intentional time together. We’ll explore the role courage plays in marriage and talk about ways to deepen trust, strengthen connection, face difficult seasons together, and keep growing as a couple.
It’s a chance to slow down, reconnect, enjoy time together, and remember what brought you together in the first place.
